Weird eBay Listing #90: Pair Of Brains For Sale

Weird eBay Listing #90: Pair Of Brains For Sale
Despite there being only one brain in the picture, this deal is for two brains. They are human, slightly used. The bodies that go with them (still living, I presume) are available but not necessarily included in this weird eBay listing.

This one started at $1.00 and has gone up to $1600.00 with only four bids. There have been 346 page views.

Update: This weird eBay listing got removed from eBay. I suppose that eBay felt that the seller might actually need his/her brain some day.

Actor Jon Voight has filed a malicious prosecution suit against a New Zealand film company

SANTA MONICA (CN) - Actor Jon Voight has filed a malicious prosecution suit against a New Zealand film company and its lawyers that claims they sued him and his manager’s elderly parents solely to get a settlement from the manager.
Voight, along with Hank and Dorothy Paul, alleged in a Superior Court complaint that Daybreak Pacific, Ltd. and producers Paul and Mark Huljich had no reasonable grounds for suing them for millions of dollars in federal court in 2006.
“Defendants believed … Steven Paul (Voight’s manager) would act favorably toward the defendants herein in attempt to relieve Steven Paul’s parents of the abuse, embarrassment, pressure, penalty, oppression, stress, and the like” caused by being sued. They allegedly had the same motive for suing Voight.
According to the new suit, the plaintiffs won a summary judgment in the Daybreak Pacific federal suit last February.
Also named defendants are Peter J. Anderson, David Rose, Petty Tsay, Eisner & Frank, Eisner, Frank & Kahan, and Pryor Cashman LLP.
The complaint was filed by Arthur Barens.

YEE-HAW! True Blood is on tonight! Anyone else here watch it? Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley), post-it style:

Another Sookie doodle:

I like how Bill calls her “Sucky” instead of “Sookie”. I like Bill.

Super weirdo realistic drawing of 60’s model Nico (plus skinny extra on the side):

I’m not that familiar with her face, so I’m not sure how much this looks like her. Hillbillies, drawn later that day:

Not much time for drawing nowadays. :/

Miss Pas Touche

Miss Pas Touche

I can’t write too much tonight cause I gotta get back to work, but I wanted to post some of the “Miss Pas Touche” fan art I did a couple weeks ago when I bought the comics. I am totally crazy about these books. The story is a murder mystery that takes place in a 1930’s brothel. I was able to understand the story pretty well even though it was in French, but there is also a translated version you can find on Amazon. Here is the second book (I think two are available now, and I’ve heard of a third one coming out):

I am so envious of artists who can make books like this. It’d be my dream job to do this kind of thing. I hope I get the time someday to learn about storytelling and comic making.

OK anyhow, here’s some fan doodles!

The main character, Blanche, is really really fun to draw. She’s very cute but a bit neurotic and shrill. Her little friend Annette is fun to draw too, but I can’t get her body type quite right.

I got artsy fartsy and drew these on some left over tissue paper.

More post-its!! My new favorite canvas.

That’s all for now. Nothing too sparkly or shiny. I’ve been working a lot, and I’ve run out of old doodles to post, so I’m not sure when the next time I’ll get to draw is. :( Hopefully I’ll be able to post more about the cool comics I’m into soon, and share some more fan art and doodles.

Thanks for coming back guys!

Moongirls

Moongirls
Bleeeeeeehhhhhhh

I’m sick, and very very tired.
>__<

I will post some Moongirls, from the sci-fi show UFO before I get back to work…I like these notepad ones:

(edit: I just noticed the freakish long arm I gave this girl…oops…)

Before I drew the notepad ones I did these way-too-serious drawings.

The main girl has a funny face- it’s super cute from some angles and a bit goofy from others. She’s still beautiful, of course.

I still haven’t seen this show…just stills on the internet. Next time I’m on work hiatus I’m gonna watch them all!

I loooooove this girl’s face:

Man, what a cool looking show! There’s another girl who wears this getup, but I didn’t like the drawings I did of her.

IMPORTANT NEWS!

My friend Sandra is gonna have a little boy soon! Like, really soon…10 days or so! Sandra is funny and nice and pretty and she draws cute stuff and I like her very much. I made her this card for her baby shower.

I made this at work the other day, it’s Baby Ricky’s double stink attack. It’s not that accurate though- I actually don’t mind his kitten breath, and his farts usually smell kind of like hay and aren’t that bad. Pretty much everything he does is cute to me though.

Go Baby Cat go!!

Skadi and the Hill People

Skadi and the Hill People
If you read Dumm Comics, you’ve already seen these, but I wanted to post them here so they could all be together in one place! This comic is my first attempt to do a full “story,” with a beginning, middle and end. Luke still helped a lot of course…he helped me with making the layouts pretty, designed the backgrounds, and came up with the color scheme. I came up with the idea, the designs, and drew about 85% of the layouts. If you haven’t already read this, I hope you like it!

This thing took a lot of after-work hours to make! Some of the man/cannibal designs are a bit lame, but I’m happy anyhow, because it’s out of my comfort zone to try and draw that kind of thing.
Drawing those tards ended up being the funnest part though, actually.

we are smart

Some extra info- a lot of the side characters in this, like Ethoch and the Cannibal Queen (is she the kings wife, daughter, or both?), are crossover characters from another personal project I haven’t shown around much yet.

Moongirls and comic fanart is still coming soon!

MORE Galactically Hot Women of Star Trek!

MORE Galactically Hot Women of Star Trek!
10 more Star Trek gals, again on post-its, drawn while eating or at 2 am, right before bed. These aren’t as cool as the first ones, but who cares! Everyone could use some extra Star Trek in their lives in these troubled times (I’m tired).

First, have some green:

OOPS cross-eye alert

This lady was prettier than my drawing

This Vulcan girl is so pretty. I messed her up bigtime. She’s not good enough for Spock anyhow!

This girl kind of looks like Chekov.
I like this one.

Ok that’s it! Time for sleep!! Coming soon, “Miss Pas Touche” fan art, or Moongirl drawings, I’m not sure. If you liked these, check out the previous post, there are better Trek gals below.
